Let Me Help
Do I need a doctor’s referral?
In the state of Massachusetts, you are NOT required to obtain a referral or prescription for physical therapy if you will not be using your health insurance.
What types of health insurance do you accept?
At the moment, PT in Motion is what the industry calls cash-based physical therapy. This allows me, the physical therapist, to avoid third-party payers that often interfere with us obtaining our goals in PT by placing restrictions and guidelines as to how the sessions should be conducted. What cash-based PT means for you is unrestricted, 100% devotion and attention to you and your health and well being!
What forms of payment do you accept?
Cash, check, Venmo, Paypal, Zelle. All major credit cards via Square (with a $5 service fee).
What is your new patient procedure?
If I have never seen you before, or this is a new issue that we have never addressed, you will first need an Initial Evaluation. During this first meeting, we will discuss what is bothering you. I will assess your range of motion, strength, flexibility, balance, posture, and anything else that I will need to help make an individualized plan of care for you. To make an appointment for an Initial Evaluation use the "Contact" tab.
What do I need on my first visit?
Since I am bringing the physical therapy to you, I make it easy and provide all the things we will need! I have a portable treatment table that I will bring so please just be sure that there is an open space for us to work in. You will be moving for me, so dress accordingly - comfortable clothing such as something you would workout in. Please also be sure that I will have access to easily assess the area we will be working on should manual therapy (ie. massage) be part of your treatment session.
